D.C. United announced today that its MLS Reserve Leaguematch at the New York Red Bulls has been rescheduled for October 17 at 3:00p.m. ET. The original contest was slated for July 10, but when the Red Bullsadvanced to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals, the two sides agreed tomove the contest to a later date.
Additionally, United and Toronto FC have rescheduled theirReserve League match in Ontario for August 30 at 10:00 a.m. ET. The originalfixture was scheduled for April 17, but after the match was cancelled, bothsides decided to move the contest to later in the Reserve League season.
The Black-and-Red Reserves currently sit atop the EastDivision of the MLS Reserve League at 5-0-1. United’s Reserves played theirsixth match of the season Sunday, August 7 defeating Toronto FC 2-1 at the D.C.United Training Complex.
