On Monday, November 22, D.C. United's technical staff will submit a list of eleven protected players in advance of Wednesday's Expansion Draft.
As Technical Director, Chad Ashton noted, "It's a very strategic game. You try and figure out who you think Portland or Vancouver will pick, and you try and protect those guys."
