When Juan Pablo Ángel said on Thursday that he won't be back with the New York Red Bulls in 2011, it didn't come as much of a surpise to those who had followed the Colombian international during his fourth year with the club.
Perhaps the biggest news came out later Thursday, when ESPN's Allen Hopkins told ExtraTime Radio on MLSsoccer.com that four teams were actually interested in trading for the Red Bulls striker midway through the season. Some of those teams were expected - the LA Galaxy and D.C. United - but the news that both the Colorado Rapids and Seattle Sounders were also on the prowl was a bit of a shock to those wondering what Ángel's fate might be.
