A little pre-season news for you - we'll be heading back to Charleston, SC in March to take part in the Carolina Challenge Cup. The team will participate in the annual competition with the defending MLS Cup champions Real Salt Lake, Toronto FC and the host Charleston Battery.
The competition format will feature three double-header match days on March 13, March 17 and March 20, with each team playing the other in a round-robin structure.
A number of United fans travel down every year to check out the tournament and the Battery's great little home, Blackbaud Stadium. More information available on ticket costs and the tournament over at charlestonbattery.com.
