United dropped three points at home for just the second time this season, falling to the San Jose Earthquakes 2-1. With the loss, the team falls to 8-7-12 and remains out of the MLS Cup playoffs with three games remaining.
Josh Wicks left the game in the second half with a dislocated shoulder and will get an MRI tomorrow and be further evaluated to determine how long he'll be out.
The team has little time to dwell on the loss with an important Champions League match on Wednesday versus San Juan Jabloteh.
