This past week has seen some solid advances in our quest for a new D.C. United stadium in Prince George's County. An e-mail campaign last week saw more than 40,000 individual letters of support reach the in-boxes of legislators throughout the State of Maryland. Yesterday, more than 75 supporters were in attendance as our club testified at a hearing in Annapolis.
Though many of you may have already voiced your support through e-mails and phone calls, some have questioned whether any of our supporters who are speaking out actually live in Prince George's County. To help answer that question, I'm asking those of you receiving this to e-mail and call your local leaders. Tell them that you reside in Prince George's County and that you want the club to be your neighbor.
