On to Charleston

Can you believe the team's season-opening game is just 18 days away?


Bright and early tomorrow morning (vans leave RFK for the airport beginning at 4 a.m.), the team will depart for its third and final leg of the 2009 preseason - Charleston, South Carolina.  We'll spend ten days in the lower Carolina, participating in the Carolina Challenge Cup, along with Real Salt Lake, Toronto FC and the tournament hosts, the Charleston Battery.  


The round robin tournament schedule looks like this:


Saturday, March 7
D.C. United v. Real Salt Lake @ 5 p.m.  
Charleston v. Toronto FC @ 7 p.m. 
Wednesday, March 11
D.C. United v. Toronto FC @ 5 p.m.
