At the end of last month we held a contest in conjunction with
BrightestYoungThings.com
- the winners won the opportunity to be in a photo shoot with United players. The lucky two were a brother-and-sister pair - Kirsten, age 10, and Preston, age 7 - who play soccer for the Calvert Soccer Association.
Kirsten, Preston and their mom, Jenn, made their way to RFK Stadium early one morning for the annual team photo shoot. In addition to sitting in on the official shot above, they also met and got photos with a number of United's players. You can see photos from their entire morning via our Flickr account. Also, if you're coming out to the game versus the Revolution on Thursday, you can pick up the official 2008 D.C. United team poster. They'll be handed out to the first 5,000 fans through the gates (which open at 6:30 p.m. ET). See what the poster looks like... right.... here.
