Career Summary

MLS EXPERIENCE

2013: Seaton signed with the Black-and-Red on 1/14 and became the first player to sign for an MLS club to be born after MLS’s inception in 1996. In his first professional season, the powerful striker spent most of his time on loan with the Richmond Kickers of the USL Pro League. The teenager appeared in 15 games and finished fourth on the team in goals scored (5) to go along with one assist as the Kickers went on to win the 2013 USL Pro Regular Season Championship. With United, he appeared in three regular season games (one start) and recorded his first assist in a friendly against Chivas Guadalajara on 7/12.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

2012: Participated in CFU U-17 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches in July with the U-17 Jamaican National Team, tallying two goals in wins against Bermuda and Antigua and Barbuda.

YOUTH EXPERIENCE

Seaton progressed through D.C. United’s Academy system, starting as a Pre-Academy player and joining the U-18 squad for part of 2012. Seaton was the leading scorer (12 goals) for the U-15’s and the co-leading scorer for the U-16’s, guiding the team to a final eight finish in the playoffs.

ACQUIRED

Signed a Homegrown player contract on January 14, 2013, becoming the first player born after the launch of MLS to be signed with a team in the League.
