D.C. United today announced that the Club will be recalling Jalen Robinson from the Richmond Kickers and initiating a new loan with Arizona United SC. The Homegrown defender was loaned to the Kickers on March 20, and has featured in one match for United’s USL Affiliate.

Robinson, United’s 7th Homegrown player to sign with the First Team, joined the Black-and-Red on Jan. 6, and has yet to feature in an MLS match. The 19-year-old Wake Forest University product was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team in 2012 and earned Freshman All-America honors from Top Drawer Soccer and College Soccer News. As a sophomore, he was named to the Second Team All-ACC, Second Team All-South Region and was named the ACC Player of the Week on Oct. 1, 2013. Robinson played and started 19 games, racking up 1,786 minutes for Wake in his sophomore year.

D.C. United travels to Philadelphia Union this weekend (Saturday, May 10 - 4:00 p.m.) as the team looks for its first road win of the season.
