MLS Commissioner rescinds D.C. United Head Coach Ben Olsen’s one-game suspension and fine
Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber today announced that D.C. United Head Coach Ben Olsen’s automatic one-game suspension and fine from last Saturday’s ejection has been rescinded. As such, Olsen will be available at the sideline of United’s game against Toronto FC at RFK Stadium this Saturday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available and can be purchased ONLINE.
Olsen and Montreal Impact Head Coach Marco Schallibaum were both ejected in the 76th minute of the Black-and-Red’s 2-1 loss to the Impact at Stade Saputo on Aug. 17. Garber suspended Montreal Impact Head Coach Marco Schallibaum one additional game and issued him an additional fine of $5,000 for his repeated misbehavior.
