Trailists with United; Jose Peña; Conor Doyle's first session

Today, D.C. United trained hard in the DC heat. Working through agilities to start, the Black-and-Red then worked through functional and tactical training and scrimmaged to close the session.

Trialists with United
This week, D.C. Untied welcomes two Haitian trialists— defenders Wilde Donald Guerrier and Judelin Aveska, both of whom played for the Haitian National Team in this year's Gold Cup.

Continuing his trial with United this week is also Suma Sheriff, a defender from the Sierra Leon National Team.

D.C. United - FESA
For the past year, General Manager Dave Kasper has been in discussions with El Salvador’s FESA academy regarding a future working relationship. The first Academy player to have a training experience with the Black-and-Red is Jose Peña. Peña, 18, featured for the U-20 El Salvadorian National Team in the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Conor Doyle trains with United
Today was the first day of training for Doyle. The former youth U.S. International had been on loan with the Colorado Rapids for six weeks prior to joining the Black-and-Red. Doyle looked sharp on the ball and found the back of the net during the scrimmage at the end of training.
