Homegrown forward notches assist with first touch of DCU debut

Seventeen-year-old Homegrown forward Michael Seaton is all the talk here at RFK. The talented, young player entered the match in the 73rd minute, and seconds later, with his first touch in a D.C. United match, notched an assist.

Seaton slid to keep the ball in, beating a Chivas de Guadalajara defender to the ball, and found the foot of Carlos Ruiz, who slotted the ball past a diving Hugo Hernandez. To top it all off, Seaton’s mom was celebrating her birthday in the crowd. An assist in his D.C. United debut— what a perfect birthday present!

United returns to RFK on Saturday, July 27 to host the New England Revolution. BUY TICKETS
