On Saturday, United defeated the visiting San Jose Earthquakes in it's first win since March 9. A big win for the Black-and-Red, broken down by the numbers:

United midfielder/forward Chris Pontius notched his first goal of the 2013 season. Pontius, who has suffered a few injuries this season said, “It’s a bit of pressure off my back now." But added, "To be honest, the win means more to any of us than any scoring. For our fans, especially at home, to get this win was huge for us.”

With Pontius' 11th minute PK goal, D.C. United was in the lead at the half for the first time in 2013.
