March to March 9: Commissioner Garber to deliver first "March to Soccer" address

Event will be streamed live on YouTube and MLSsoccer.com today at 6 p.m. ET

 

Ahead of Major League Soccer’s 18th season’s opener on Saturday, March 2, Commissioner Don Garber will conduct his first “March to Soccer” address today at 6 p.m. ET on the MLS YouTube Channel. Live from Google’s offices in New York City, Garber will mainly cover new league initiatives for 2013.

After Garber gives his remarks, he will then take questions from the media via an exclusive Google+ Hangout. MLSsoccer.com will also be streaming this event live. According to the MLS release, Garber is the first commissioner of a major sports league to utilize this combination of technology and access to speak to fans.
