Tonight's kickoff against the defending MLS Cup champions is set for 7:00 p.m. ET at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, with the contest being televised nationally on Galavision. Comcast SportsNet brings us up to speed in this week's Black-and-Red Report, with Russ Thaler and Sebastian Salazar discussing the challenges of playing in Colorado. Staying with CSN, Salazar gives us his three keys to coming away with all three points from Colorado.

At the Washington Post, Steve Goff discusses United's defensive challenges against the Rapids, with several contributing members of the backline missing through international duty, injury, or suspension. Goff also weighed in on the play of midfielder Branko Boskovic earlier this week, with United's Designated Player earning more time in training with the first team in recent days. Head Coach Ben Olsen may throw the Montenegrin into his first MLS match of 2011 in today's contest.

Craig Stouffer of the Washington Examiner takes a look at United's potential lineup for Sunday evening, while Travis Clark of MLSsoccer.com gives us his take

Clark also takes a look at the ascension of United rookie Blake Brettschneider, with the stiker's alma matter conducting a nice Q&A with him earlier this week.

Lastly, the Black-and-Red can look forward to having rookie standout Perry Kitchen back in training next week. The University of Akron product captained the United States Under 20's last night against Panama, playing 90 minutes in a 2-0 win, allowing the United States to advance to the quarterfinals of the 2011 CONCACAF Championship.
