MLS game #11: DCU vs. Real Salt Lake

Through 12 games in all competitions in 2009, United has been beaten just a single time. Five wins, six draws... and one loss. The lone defeat came back on April 11 at Rio Tinto Stadium against the opponent United will face tonight at RFK Stadium - Real Salt Lake. In the fourth game of the young MLS season, D.C. got on the board first when Luciano Emilio tucked a header in the far post from a Chris Pontius cross late in the first half. RSL rebounded two minutes later however with a goal from a corner kick and then nabbed the game winner just ten minutes from the game's final whistle when Javier Morales put away a loose ball from 18 yards.

Tonight, United will look to avenge it's only blemish of the year. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. at RFK Stadium. Prior to the United's game, the Washington Freedom will take on Sky Blue FC in its first game at RFK since 2003. Kickoff for the WPS match is 4:30 p.m. It's a beautiful day for soccer, so get yourself out to stadium!
