D.C. United television schedule update

Washington, D.C. (May 7, 2009) - D.C. United and broadcast partner Comcast SportsNet announced today that due to scheduling conflicts, Comcast SportsNet will be unable to carry Saturday night’s game against Toronto FC and will add a future 2009 D.C. United match to its broadcast schedule at a later point.

D.C. United is currently riding a five-game unbeaten streak in all competitions and stands alone in first place in Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference standings. United (3-1-4, 13 points) is unbeaten at home this season and will look to keep that streak going Saturday, May 9 as they host Toronto FC at 7:30 p.m. ET. Tickets are available at www.dcunited.com . Gameday festivities are set to begin at 3:30 p.m. at Lincoln Park (East Capitol Street, NE between 11th and 13th Streets, NE), as fans will march to RFK Stadium in support of a new D.C. United stadium project. Details of the march and other game-day promotions are available at www.dcunited.com .

Broadcasting and P.A. Request: When speaking of the organization, please refer to the team as either “D.C. United” or “United,” but not “the D.C. United” or “the United.” We appreciate your cooperation.
