D.C. Untied takes on Sporting Kansas City tonight (5 p.m. ET; Comcast SportsNet), the second time the two teams will face off in 2013, but the first and only time Kansas City will visit RFK Stadium this season.

De Rosario hit the major milestone of 100 career goals last season against New York, however, in United’s last match against FC Dallas, the forward tied Taylor Twellman for the sixth most goals all-time with 101 MLS goals. It was also the Black-and-Red captain’s first goal of the season.

Besler (and teammate Graham Zusi) competed with the U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) in a friendly against De Rosario (along United’s Dejan Jakovic and Kyle Porter) and the Canada Men’s National Team on 1/29. The two countries tied 0-0.

Peterson and De Rosario played together for Toronto FC from 2010-11. Toronto FC finished 5th in the Eastern Conference in 2010, and 8th in 2011, though neither player finished 2011 in Toronto.

D.C. United today announced, in collaboration with Blacksburg High School Soccer, New River United SA, Radford SC, Roanoke Star SC, Christiansburg Soccer Club, Hidden Valley High School and Valley AFC, that its U-23 squad will put on a showcase in Roanoke, Va., on June 16 at Dwight Bogle Stadium .
