Iapichino has arrived

D.C. United's newest signing, Dennis Iapichino joined the team in Montreal last week, but was waiting on paperwork before he could make his move to the District. After flying in last night, the defender was on the field and ready for training this morning with his new teammates.

Ben Olsen is off the hook

Today, MLS announced that the one-game suspension, which Olsen suffered in last Saturday's match in Montreal, has been rescinded. Both Olsen and Montreal manager Marco Schallibaum were dismissed from the sideline after the pair left their technical area while arguing a call made by the referree. Schallibaum's suspension will hold, and he has been issued a $5,000 fine for repeated misbehavior, but United's animated leader will be coaching on Saturday from the bench, where he belongs.

The Kickers are playoff bound

Andrew Dykstra, Michael Seaton, and Conor Shanosky have spent much of the 2013 season on loan with DCU's USL affiliate club, the Richmond Kickers. On Saturday, the Kickers will face Dayton, a side which Richmond has bested twice already this season, but as Dykstra noted, "Dayton's not a bad team, obviously they got into the playoffs. If they show up, they're a hard working group, so it's not a game we can take lightly."

Good luck to the three DMV locals, as they prepare to help lead the Kickers through a heated playoff series. Dykstra, for one, will have no shortage of support on Saturday, "I've got a lot of famiy coming down from Woodbridge, and still some lingering friends in Richmond. Not a lot, but because I went to VCU and I know a lot of people that are still with the Kickers from when I was there."

D.C. United will face Toronto FC this Saturday at RFK, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available ONLINE
