D.C. United and Wells Fargo are proud to announce Saves for DC SCORES, a program that launched last season, is continuing for 2016. Through this initiative, Wells Fargo will donate $100 to United’s charitable partner DC SCORES for every save by a D.C. United goalkeeper. The number of saves throughout the regular season will be tracked on dcunited.com and promoted across the team’s social media outlets. Wells Fargo will present a check for the the final donation total during D.C. United’s last regular season home match on Sunday, October 16 vs. New York City FC. The funds raised through Saves for DC SCORES will directly support the award-winning youth development non-profit that provides free after-school soccer and literacy programming to at-risk DC area youth. The donation will benefit 2,000 elementary and middle school age children across the District who participates in the year-round program.
