"Name in Lights" - Scoreboard Messages

Share your Birthday, Wedding or Anniversary with D.C. United by displaying a personal message on RFK Stadium’s scoreboard at any home game for a $50.00 donation to United for D.C., the charitable arm of D.C. United. For a $250.00 donation to United for D.C., add a photo to your message for all to see on RFK’s jumbotron.

Guidelines

  • All requests must be received seven business days prior to the specified game.
  • Messages may be in English or Spanish.
  • But, messages must be 25 characters or less, including spaces and punctuation.
  • Photos must be already be in a digital format and must be uploaded to the online form (or e-mailed to unitedfordc@dcunited.com if you fax/mail your request) seven business days prior to the specified game. We cannot scan photos for you.
  • Requests will not be processed until full payment is received.
  • D.C. United reserves the right to specify during which half of the game the message will be displayed.

 

Process

  1. Fill out the online "Name in Lights" donation form
  2. or Download the donation form [PDF] and mail or fax it in.
  3. Once payment is received, a confirmation email will be sent.
  4. Attend the match and look for your name in lights!
