In 1996, D.C. United legend Marco Etcheverry discovered a giant egg during pre-game warm-ups and alerted team medical staff that the enormous egg was cracking.
Talon hatched 10 minutes before kickoff, kicking his way out of the thick eggshell. His strong kick prompted D.C. United's President to immediately sign Talon to a life-time contract, making him a permanent part of the D.C. United family.
Talon now flies all over D.C. making various apperances, sharing his passion for the Black-and-Red!
