Executive Vice President, Stephen Zack oversees all aspects of day-to-day business operations of D.C. United. A member of D.C. United since its inception, Zack was actively involved with the development of the D.C. United brand and marketing strategies. Formerly vice president of marketing, Zack was honored as the 1997 and 2000 MLS Marketing Executive of the Year and in 2006 was named the League’s Executive of the Year.
Zack serves as the President of United for D.C., the charitable foundation of D.C. United and is also a board member of the non-profit organization, DC Scores.
Prior to coming to D.C. United, Zack was a senior manager of events for Soccer USA Partners, the marketing agent for the United States Soccer Federation, where he was responsible for a range of activities related to the staging of 40 U.S. National Team exhibition matches from 1991-1995. For four years prior to his work with Soccer USA Partners, Zack worked on a variety of accounts for advertising agencies in Boston and New York.
Born March 5, 1965, Zack is a graduate of Syracuse University and lives in Potomac, MD.
