Washington, D.C. (January 13, 2009) – D.C. United announced today the re-signing of defender Bryan Namoff. In a season that saw a host of lineup changes from the previous year, the veteran defender continued to be a steady presence in United’s backline. The 29-year-old Rockford, IL native is currently tied for fourth in all-time League appearances (169) for the Black-and-Red, first among defenders. Per team and League policy, terms of the agreement will not be released.

Washington, D.C. (January 7, 2009) – D.C. United announced today the club has re-signed defender Marc Burch. In his first full season with the Black-and-Red, the 24-year-old made 28 League appearances (21 starts) along United’s backline. Burch was originally acquired by D.C. from the Columbus Crew on April 4, 2007 for a 2008 Supplemental Draft pick. Per team and League policy, terms of the new agreement were not released.
