United’s 1-1 tie against the New England Revolution tonight, Jaime Moreno became the first player in MLS history to record 100 goals and 100 assists. His pass in stoppage time to set up Ben Olsen’s goal, gave the Bolivian forward his100th assist. Coupled with his unmatched 122 goals in League play, the feat is yet another accomplishment in Moreno’s long and storied career in Major League Soccer.

United announced today that single-game tickets for the home matches on May 23 vs. Salt Lake, June 4 vs. New York, June 13 vs. Chicago and July 18 vs. Colorado are now on sale. Single-game tickets are available for $22 in the Spectator section, $30 at the Premium level, $40 at the VIP level, and $50 for the Mezzanine level. Single game tickets for the rest of the season will go on sale at a later date

Student groups and organizations may purchase advance tickets for $15 by noon Friday and sit adjacent to United supporters’ groups, La Barra Brava and Screaming Eagles.

Tiffany Trophy Cup Results - The D.C. United Academy U16 side recently participated in the Tiffany Trophy Cup, facing international youth teams from Real Madrid (Spain) and Deportivo Saprissa (Costa Rica).
WASHINGTON, DC (April 10, 2009) - D.C. United and its non-profit arm, United for D.C., today announced the spring session kickoff of United Soccer Club. Through its partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, the spring session will see an expansion to three new sites. United for D.C. and the U.S. Soccer Foundation work together to support their missions to promote youth soccer in economically disadvantaged urban communities.

On the second half
We talked a lot about the way we’d been starting 2nd halves, you always look at crucial times of the games and the good starts – ending a half, starting a half. The first half wasn’t good enough soccer-wise, so we talked about how we’re going to have the energy, we addressed some of the concerns as far as our shape. I think it worked, I thought we came out with a little more life, and obviously scoring early in the second half was a direct effect of it.

WASHINGTON, DC (April 3, 2009) - D.C. United announced today plans to continue the 2009 season of United Drives by collecting baby essentials - items such as diapers, baby wipes, bottles, wash cloths, rattles and receiving blankets - before home matches during the month of April. All items collected at the April 4 and 17 games will benefit the Prince George’s Child Resource Center, Inc. Each month during the 2009 Major League Soccer season, D.C. United will collect items at every home game to benefit pre-determined non-profit organizations within the Washington, D.C. area.
