Washington, D.C. (March 25, 2009) – D.C. United announced today the club has waived defender Ryan Miller. The 24-year old had did not make an appearance in League play for D.C. after being acquired by the club in September of last year.

WASHINGTON, DC (March 19, 2009) – Following a series of fan feedback initiatives, D.C. United announced today the creation of an in-house guest services department and the Fanatix Season Ticket Holder Lounge. The guest services department aims to strategically assign staffers throughout RFK Stadium to aid the flow of game-day traffic and deal with questions or concerns immediately as they arise. The Fanatix Lounge provides season ticket holders an exclusive area to deal directly with D.C.
Washington, D.C. (March 17, 2009) – Alba Galindo, one of the “Senadora” models on Univision’s popular weekly sports show “República Deportiva” (Sports Republic), will be making an appearance this weekend at D.C. United’s tryouts for Sueño MLS 2009 – built by The Home Depot. Alba will be available for pictures and autographs on Saturday, March 21 from 2:30pm – 4:00 p.m. at the Maryland SoccerPlex.
Results from over the weekend: D.C. United’s Academy teams hosted two top local sides this weekend, PDA and Match Fit. For the U18s, the weekend was a successful one as they won both their matches, yet the U16s were unable to attain the same results, drawing against PDA on Saturday and losing against Match Fit on Sunday.
Washington, D.C. (March 12, 2009) – D.C. United announced today the signing of goalkeeper Milos Kocic to a developmental roster spot. A graduate of Loyola College of Maryland, Kocic was selected by the Black-and-Red in the second round (21st overall) of the 2009 MLS SuperDraft on January 15. He will be officially available upon receipt of his International Transfer Certificate.

Washington, D.C. (March 10, 2009) – D.C. United announced today the club has acquired goalkeeper Josh Wicks from the Los Angeles Galaxy in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. The 25 year-old will report to United’s pre-season training camp in Charleston, South Carolina, where the team is competing in the Carolina Challenge Cup.
Washington, D.C. (March 8, 2009) - D.C. United announced today the club will participate in this year’s edition of Sueño MLS 2009 - built by The Home Depot. Tryouts will take place at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown, MD on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22. Among the scouts evaluating talent will be former United star Raúl Díaz Arce and D.C. United Director of Youth Development John Maessner.
