D.C. United continues with
its community outreach efforts next week, as U-23 Head Coach and Academy
Technical Training Coach Jaime Moreno makes an appearance at the Mayor’s Office
on Latino Affairs. The United legend will participate in a press conference to
promote immunization awareness in the Hispanic community on Monday, December 5
at 10:00 a.m. As part of the "Yo Me Vacuno" 2011-2012 campaign for National Influenza Vaccination Week (December 4-10), the conference will be held at the Reed Conference Room, located
in the second floor.

United Soccer Club's Fall Fest soccer tournament brings together youth from across the District and Maryland to RFK, exemplifying D.C. United’s commitment to the community. All participants will have recently completed a 10-week soccer training regimen as part of United Soccer Club, and will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of several D.C. United players. Family and friends are welcome to attend, and food and drinks will be provided for the student athletes as part of the program’s focus on healthy lifestyles.

a condiciones climáticas, D.C. United y su rama benéfica, United for D.C., combinarán
el torneo del miércoles de United Soccer Club en un solo evento el viernes, 18
de noviembre. Todos los niños de 6 a 12 años que participaron en el United
Soccer Club este otoño competirán en el torneo que se llevará a cabo de 4:30 a
7:00 p.m. El evento consistirá de partidos, autógrafos de jugadores, la mascota
del United Talon, juegos de carnaval, música y mucho más. 

Due to inclement weather,
D.C. United and its non-profit arm, United for D.C., will combine Wednesday’s
United Soccer Club tournament into one event on Friday, November 18. Friday’s
session at the RFK Stadium Training Field will proceed as planned, with
children ages 6-12 who participated in United Soccer Club this fall taking part
in the event. From 4:30-7:00 p.m. this USC event will feature matches, player autographs,
D.C. United mascot Talon, carnival games, music and much more.

United y su rama benéfica, United for D.C., celebrarán dos días de torneo para
marcar el cierre de la temporada de otoño del United Soccer Club. Todos los
niños de 6 a 12 años que participaron en el United Soccer Club este otoño
estarán compitiendo. Los eventos se llevarán a cabo el miércoles, 16 de
noviembre y el viernes, 18 de noviembre de 4:30 a 7 p.m. en las Canchas
Auxiliares del Estadio RFK. El evento consistirá de partidos, autógrafos de
jugadores, la mascota del United Talon, juegos de carnaval, música y mucho más.

mark the end of the fall season of United Soccer Club. The tournaments will
involve all children, ages 6-12, who participated in United Soccer Club this
fall. The events will be held on Wednesday, November 16 and Friday,
November 18 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. on the RFK Stadium Training Field and will feature matches, player
autographs, D.C. United mascot Talon, carnival games, music and much more.
