D.C. United has announced that defender Nana Attakora has been selected to the Canada Men’s National Team roster for its international friendly vs. Panama on November 18 at Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, Panama.
Attakora was last called up on September 9 for an international friendly against Jamaica. The defender has six appearances (two starts) since debuting for the senior national team in 2010. The 25-year-old has also represented Canada at the U17, U20 and U23 age groups.

United today announced that captain Dwayne De Rosario and defender Dejan Jakovic have been called to the Canada Men’s National Team for training camp and a friendly against Australia on Oct. 15 in London, England. Both players will depart Oct. 7 and will return following the friendly on Oct. 16.
D.C. United today announced that midfielder Kyle Porter has been added to the Canada Men’s National Team’s 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup roster. Porter replaces an injured Nana Attakora on Canada’s 23-man list, but will not report to training camp unless the coaching staff calls on him. Teammate Chris Pontius was also selected to the U.S.
D.C. United today announced that defender Dejan Jakovic has been named to the 20-player Canada Men’s National Team roster for training camp and two friendlies. Canada will first face Japan on March 22 and then Belarus on March 25, both in Doha, Qatar. The defender will miss the Black-and-Red’s second home match of the season when United plays host to the Columbus Crew on Saturday, March 23 (3:30 ET p.m.; NBC Sports Network).

Dwayne De Rosario and Dejan Jakovic were both in the starting XI for Canada in a 4-0 loss against Denmark today in Tucson, Arizona. Jakovic went the full 90 minutes in the backline while De Rosario - entering his first international match since suffering an MCL injury on Sept. 11, 2012 against Panama - was subbed out in the 60th minute. This was De Rosario's 72nd international cap and Jakovic's 13th.

United today announced that midfielder Dwayne De Rosario and defender Dejan Jakovic have been called up to the Canada Men’s National Team for training camp and two friendlies on January 26 against Denmark in Tucson, Ariz., and January 29 against the United States in Houston, TX. Both players will be away from January 20-30.
Today, the Canadian Soccer Association announced the list of nominees for the BMO Canadian Players of the Year Award. Among the list was D.C. United midfielder Dwayne De Rosario. The award will be voted on by Canadian media and coaches.
De Rosario appeared in five matches for the Canadian National Team in 2012, notching one goal, a game-winner over Panama in World Cup Qualifying. With 71 total appearances and 20 goals, De Rosario is Canada's all-time leading goal scorer.
