D.C. United captain Dwayne De Rosario, who is currently at January camp with the Canadian National team, sits down for a quick Q&A to discuss his injury last fall and his future with the National team. De Rosario has made 72 appearances (59 starts) for the nation.

Dwayne De Rosario and Dejan Jakovic were both in the starting XI for Canada in a 4-0 loss against Denmark today in Tucson, Arizona. Jakovic went the full 90 minutes in the backline while De Rosario - entering his first international match since suffering an MCL injury on Sept. 11, 2012 against Panama - was subbed out in the 60th minute. This was De Rosario's 72nd international cap and Jakovic's 13th.

Five former Black-and-Red players - Raúl Díaz Arce, Marco Etcheverry, Roy Lassiter, Ben Olsen and Tony Sanneh – were nominated yesterday for the National Soccer Hall of Fame Class of 2013 elections. Olsen, United’s current head coach, and Sanneh are two of five players in the group of 22 nominated in their first year of eligibility.

Today United Builds participated in the Greater DC Cares' MLK Day of Service. A group of 15 volunteers, including Lance Rozeboom, from the club spent the day beautifying Jan's Tutoring House. Among other tasks, the volunteers refurbished the library, painted, and cleaned the facility.
D.C. United's draft pick was not in Indianapolis at the SuperDraft, but that does not mean that he wasn't just as nervous and excited for the day. In a Q&A yesterday with dcunited.com the rookie said of his new club, "that was the club that like I always kind of dreamed about joining, and for that to actually happen is, ya know, I cant even really describe how happy I am right now."

Ahead of the start of preseason, rumors continue to circle about Andy Najar and whether he will remain with Anderlecht after his one month loan. But head coach Ben Olsen told MLSsoccer.com that he's "Expecting Andy to be back. That's what I'm preparing for."
