After an impressive 3-1 win over a hot Montreal Impact side, D.C. United newcomers turned some heads. Both Conor Doyle and Luis Silva are in the starting eleven for Major League Soccer's Week 23 Team of the Week after netting a goal a piece. Silva found the net in the 19th minute, while Doyle hit the game-winner in the 68th minute and assisted Jared Jeffrey's tally in extra time. Jared Jeffrey also made Team of the Week as a substitute, after scoring once and going 90 minutes at center midfield for the Black-and-Red. Head Coach Ben Olsen was named coach of this week's squad, having led his youthful side to victory.
Conor Doyle netted his first MLS goal on Saturday, notching the game winner over the Montreal Impact. Doyle put away a cross from James Riley with a one-touch finish, beating Troy Perkins with his crafty touch. Vote for Doyle's goal and help make his first MLS tally Week 23's Goal of the Week.

In today's Local section of the Washington Post, the paper gives fans and supporters an opportunity to voice their opinion about D.C. United's new stadium plans. The question posed is, "Should D.C. United and the city agree to build a stadium at Buzzard Point in Southwest D.C.?" As of now, the overwhelming majority (86%) has voted yes. While we await a council vote, the Post is providing fans and residents a place to let their voices be heard.

D.C. United's long and challenging search for a home of its own, has been a whirlwind. Each day a new prospect, another hurdle. A single constant has stood by in confident support, and with unwavering passion. That constant has been our fans.
It is with deep pride and an overwhelming sense of gratitude that we present this week's #TBT in honor of the best fans in MLS. We are here to stay.
