Diehard 'Skins fans

Like all new D.C. residents, Branko Boskovic was bound to find out about the Redskins. One of the biggest names in the National Football League, the Redskins are something of an institution in the Nation's Capital, and this was not lost on United's Montenegrin playmaker. Wanting to attend his first game at FedEx Field now that United's season is over, Boskovic did not miss an opportunity to catch a Monday Night Football match-up against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday evening. Alongside roommate and United Striker Pablo Hernandez and midfielder Carlos Varela, Boskovic enjoyed his first experience as a fan. The three Black-and-Red players went out of their way to have an authentic game day experience. Boskovic and company did not ask for tickets through D.C. United. Instead, they bought stubs on their own and had a blast in the (relatively) cheap seats. The pictures tell the true story, and despite the Redskins' loss, a good time was had by all. Said Boskovic, "[The Redskins game] was very impressive. The atmosphere, the players - I like [Donovan] McNabb. It was a tough game but you can tell he is a good player." Boskovic, Hernandez, and Varela bought all the appropriate Redskins merchandise to wear at the game, so look for the three players to sport their new gear around town.
