Supporters Charity Shield set for Saturday, August 21

Barra Brava and Screaming Eagles face off in second annual charity match

The much-anticipated return of the Supporters’ Charity Shield match between Barra Brava FC and Screaming Eagles FC will be held this Saturday, August 21 on the RFK Auxiliary Field. The second annual event will feature a double-header, starting at 12:00 p.m. when the clubs' women's sides take the field. The men's teams will face off in the second game with kickoff slated for 2:00 p.m.

Tickets for the charity event cost $10 and are available both at the gate and online at Barra-Brava.com. All proceeds will be split between United for D.C. and the Wounded Warriors Project. Additional donations can be made in-person or through the online store. The event will also include barbecued food provided by Barra Brava, though alcohol is not permitted. It all adds up to a great weekend for D.C. United fans as the Black-and-Red hosts their newest rivals, the Philadelphia Union at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22.  Purchase tickets for this event.
