D.C. United is renowned for having the most loyal supporters in Major League Soccer, and from the look of things our fans are starting earlier every year. Ava Carlsson had this photo taken when she was only eight days old, and it is fairly clear where her soccer allegiance lies. The shot was taken by Lisa Julia Photography, and we thank Ava's father John for sending over the photo. John has been a season ticket holder for five years, and he never misses a match - a trait that he aims to pass onto his daughter. 

With the Black-and-Red returning to Washington this week for two home matches against FC Dallas and Philadelphia Union (August 14 and August 22), the players are excited to play in front of the home supporters once again. Interim Head Coach Ben Olsen had the guys playing with renewed vigor in New England on Saturday, and this trend is sure to increase with the backing of Barra Brava, Screaming Eagles, and the rest of the United faithful.
