Following United where ever we may go

From the Pacific NW to the Eternal City, United fans are everywhere

Black-and-Red supporters are known around Major League Soccer for their unwavering loyalty, but it seems that the fans' dedication is not limited to the Western Hemisphere. The photo above was taken by our very own Tony Limarzi, who was recently in Italy to celebrate his sister's wedding. The shot is of Tony's son Luca proudly holding up his colors in front of the Roman Colosseum. Luca is only two years old, but already it is clear where his loyalties lie - not that he had much choice with his father working for the club!

The second photo is from Matt Ryan. Matt was out in Seattle for a friend's wedding on July 15, which was ironically the same date that Sounders FC visited RFK Stadium in MLS play. Surrounded by Sounders fans, Matt bravely cheered on the Black-and-Red in the Pacific Northwest. Taking time to see the sights, Matt stopped by the statue of Jimi Hendrix in the Capitol Hill district of Seattle. Matt made sure to give Jimi the proper attire, and we are proud to know that one of the greatest musicians of all time is a member of Black-and-Red nation. Thanks Luca and Matt for your support!

Do you have D.C. United travel photos? Send them along to DMInfo [at] dcunited.com, we would love to see them.
