Our U-15 Academy Training Program is an ideal opportunity for the area's best, male players born between 1994 and 1998. The program will run from June 14th - August 20th, 2010. Players will be given full consideration for D.C. United's U-16 Academy Team.

The U-15 Academy Training Program will have 2 groups:

  • A group of 30 players born 1994 and 1995
  • A group of 30 players born 1996 and 1997 and 1998

 

Players selected for the U-15 Academy Training Program will receive:

  • Top-class instruction from the Academy's professional coaching staff.
  • Two training sessions a week on Monday and Friday nights from 4:00-5:30 PM at the RFK Auxiliary Turf field.  Starting on June 14th and running thru August 20th, 2010.  (note: Training will be from 530-7pm on June 18th. We will not train the week of August 2nd. The weeks of August 9th and 16th, training will go from 6-7:30pm. Weekly email reminders will be sent out at the beginning of each week during the program)
  • Full consideration for D.C. United's upcoming 2010/2011 U-16 Academy Team.
  • Academy staff will have the ability to move players up into the older age group if we feel it is appropriate.

The following players have been selected to participate in our 2010 U15 Academy Developmental Training Program.

 

Please respond via email by June 14th, 2010 to confirm your commitment to the program.

Players that join the program must submit their $550 payment by Monday, June 14th. Please make checks payable to: DC United Academy, C/O Chad Ashton, 2400 East Capitol St SE, Washington, DC 20003

We will work with your current club obligations and realize players have previous commitments throughout the summer but we expect all of our players to attend all sessions that they are available for.

Tryouts

Tryouts for Summer 2010 are over.  Check this site n a few months for the date of the next round of tryouts.

 

Fees:

If you are selected for the program after tryouts, there is a participation fee of $550.
