Half-Day Camp (Summer)

The half-day camp focuses on age-appropriate technical, tactical and physical aspects of the game and offers an ideal foundation for players.

Best for:

  • 5 to 14-years old
  • Recreational and competitive soccer players

Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  • June 22-26 - Hagerstown Soccer Complex, Hagerstown, MD
  • July 6-10 - Poplar Tree Park, Chantilly, VA
  • July 13-17 - Sherando Park, Stephens City, VA
  • July 13-17 - Arundel High School, Gambrills, MD
  • July 20-24 - Chancellors Run Park, Great Mills, MD
  • July 27-31 - Dixon Street Park, Fredericksburg, VA
  • July 27-31 - Hutchinson Park, Herndon, VA
  • Aug. 10-14 - Hoop Magic (Indoor facility), Chantilly, VA

Fees & Discounts

Only one discount is available per child - either Team or Family

  • $175 per person
  • Family Discount: $10 discount for each sibling registering at same time. The family must register together to receive the discount; not across several registrations.
  • Team Discount: $10 refund per player for teams that register seven or more. Each player will individually register online and enter their team name on the form. If seven or more with the same team name and age group register for the Academy, a $10 refund will be given to each player upon check-in at the first day of the Academy.

10:00 AM Technical Work (Split into age groups)
  • Moving the ball, getting touches
  • Proper technique

10:30 AM Begin Stations (15 min each, 5 min between)
Different topics each day such as:
  • Receiving the ball - First Touch, Turning
  • Passing and Combination play
  • Dribbling moves - 1v1 to small goals
  • Heading & Finishing
Also:
  • Tactical Games
  • Small-sided games

11:30 AM Soccer Tournament
  • 3 games (15 min each, 5 min break)
  • Scrimmage (20 min each, 5 min break)
  • Team Games
12:30 PM End of session
